Youth Leadership Development

Gateway's leadership team were present to support Founder/owner Mr. Boris Ashford of Mentor Me II during a visit to Person High school in Roxboro, NC. The team met with future leaders enrolled in Person High school's JROTC and athletics program.

They were accompanied by a special guest, rising music recording artist Baby C who is originally from the Roxboro area.

Students were taught that the term "dress for success" simply means dressing appropriately for the occasion. Students were also given a platform to speak of leadership challenges and peer pressure while acting in leadership positions. Speakers were able to share experiences and encourage teens dealing with social and personal issues.
